Salvador Dali Surrealist Project

My surrealist project! I used four pictures of plants and 'melted' them. I mostly used the smudge tool on photoshop cause it's a fun tool and works great for the whole melting look. I used the warp tool on the hanging dandilion plant to be able to 'hang' it from the branch as it melted. My favorite is the group of purple flowers in the top right-hand corner.

My Theme Project! The Four Elements!

My theme project for Media Arts 11 Class. My theme is the four elements Water, Earth, Air and Fire. I decided to be a little creative and I stuck all of my images together on one background in there certain element groups.

A few of the fire images were done in a dark room with a very low shutter speed and that's how I got those pictures. The main Water and Earth images are photoshopped and have a few supporting images around them like the fish and the plants. One of the Air images was actually when the forest fires were around and that's how much smoke there was even though the actual fires were across the lake and nowhere near us. The one image in the middle I guess is the 'Spirit' or 'Fifth Element' and it is usually the center of all the elements.

My photography class did reflections today and i think these ones are the best!

Halloween!!!

Halloween Cupcakes!!! Yum!!! My sister was babysitting for our neighbours across the street and they came over to our house and helped decorate the halloween cupcakes. We used gummy worms, spiders, snake, any gummies that we had and a bunch of dofferent icing and sprinkles. They tasted so good! Both of the kids got to take home their cupcakes that they decorated. After the cupcakes we all made witches finger cookies and the kids decided to make some toes as well! LOL! They both liked the song 'you belong with me' by taylor swift so we ended up playing that song over and over with us and the kids singing it. It was a fun night!

I for one am very proud of this picture because it was my first time at using photoshop and I think it turned out great! The picture is of my friend Kim with a photoshopped blue mermaid tail. Again, I am very proud of this picture!!! LOL!

It was so much fun to do these pictures! We used about four flashlights and turned the lights off in the room we were in. We had a very low shutter speed on the camera we were using which came out with these outcomes. Alot of them turned out really well and looked awesome! We took 25 pictures in total and these are my most favorites!

I had so much fun taking these pictures with my friends for media photography class. You don't know how long it took for us to make some of these pictures look just right! A few of them might not be exactly acurate but you get the idea of what we were trying to do.

These are my most favorite pics of my dog Rocky, the miniature shnauser, and his best friend Trigger at the dog park. I love the way i took the picture and the dogs were so funny when they're just running around the dog park. Trigger is our next door neighbours dog but he loves to come over to our place and play with Rocky whenever he can. LOL!
